Brian Douglas Hormell

Brian Douglas Hormell of Midland City, Alabama passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019. He was 62.

Per family wishes a direct cremation was performed.  A memorial service will be held at a later time.   

Born February 13, 1957 to Glen Hormell(late) and Lucille Gatten Hormell. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Marine Corp and was later employed as a tow truck driver and a truck driver.   Brian enjoyed train shows, auctions, collecting tow trucks and especially spending time with his family.

Brian was preceded in death by his father and three grandchildren Austin, Logan and Scarlett.  Survivors include his wife, Carla Kuhns Hormell, six children, Amy McClure, Wayne Hormell, Valerie Hormell, Autumn Mort, Summer Hormell, April Hormell, three step children, Stephanie Kuhns, Kevin Kuhns, Benjamin Barnhart.  Survivors also include; 23 grandchildren, Courtney, Bobby, Marissa, Shelby, Wayne Jr, Blane, Hayden, Jeremiah, Josalyn, Ryeder, Kasey, Alex, Shane, Brooklyn, Zhane, Leana, Jada, Luna, Justice, Vivian (his pride and joy), BJ, Anna and Matthew.
