Bridgett Marie Holet, a resident of Slocomb, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at a local hospital. She was 49.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 4:00 pm in Sunset Memorial Park Chapel.
Bridgett was born on February 2, 1972 in New Brockton and lived her early years in Enterprise. She was a graduate of Enterprise High School. Bridgett earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Troy University, and later, her master’s degree from Troy University in Dothan. Bridgett was employed with the Boys’ Group Home for three years, and last was employed as a therapist with Florida Therapy. She also was a substitute teacher in Geneva County, Dale County and Houston County. Bridgett enjoyed camping at Vortex Springs and Eufaula and going to concerts.
Survivors include her daughter, Amber Holet; her brother, Kevin Banister; and her boyfriend, Robert Merritt.
