Byron Warren, a life-long resident of Evergreen, Alabama went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday afternoon, October 22, 2022, at the age of 82.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Meadowlawn Cemetery in Enterprise, Alabama.  A memorial service will also be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Evergreen Baptist Church in Evergreen, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Byron’s name to The Evergreen Baptist Church or Sparta Academy.

Born the oldest of three boys to Byron M. Warren, Sr. and Lucy Conner Warren, he was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his brothers, Conner Warren (Pug) and Jim Warren (Betty) and many other relatives and friends.

Byron attended Evergreen High School and Marion Military Institute and went on to graduate from Livingston University, now the University of West Alabama. He was a long-time member of the Evergreen Baptist Church where he faithfully attended as long as his health allowed.  He was an avid supporter of Sparta Academy in Evergreen and served many years as the statistician for their Athletic Teams. He loved the Word of God, the City of Evergreen, and Sparta Academy.

The family extends sincere thanks to the staff at Evergreen Nursing & Rehab for the compassionate care given to Byron for the past five years.
