Byron Roger Whitton of Enterprise, AL passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 at his home.  He was 65. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM, Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Mynatt officiating.  Burial will follow at 12:30PM, Friday, July 2, 2021 in Cullman Memory Gardens in Cullman, AL. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1:00 PM until service time.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Hillcrest Baptist Church, 500 Alberta Street, Enterprise, AL 36330.

Byron was a longtime member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Enterprise.  He served as a deacon and was also a member of the Hillcrest choir and Praise team.  Byron was a loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather. 

Survivors include his wife, Annette Whitton, Enterprise, AL; 2 daughters, Leslie Buckhalt (Ken), Enterprise, Adrienne Mackentepe (Jody), Eva, AL; 2 sons, Matt Whitton (Elizabeth), Enterprise, AL, Blake Whitton (Lori), Eva, AL; mother, Avnell Whitton Nail; 10 grandchildren, Abbie Buckhalt, Parker Whitton, McCool Whitton, Payton Waters (Jake), Hayden Buckhalt, Gavin Mackentepe, Case Mackentepe, Houston Whitton, Luke Whitton, Rheagan Whitton; a great-granddaughter, Maisyn Kate Waters.
