Carl Gene Rodgers of Hartford, Alabama passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022, at his residence. He was 69 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Marvin Rodgers and Jewel Mae Walden Rodgers; and wife, Mary Rhoten Rodgers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Rev. Ricky King officiating. Burial will follow in Pondtown United Methodist Church Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Survivors include his four children, Lonnie Gene Rodgers (Tammy Burnham) of Ponce De Leon, FL, James Rodney Rodgers of Hartford, Mary Ann Rodgers of Hartford, and Amanda Sue Rodgers (Carlos Landaverde) of Hartford; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and one brother, William Rodgers of DeLand, FL.
