Known to many as ‘Carol’, Carlynn T. Seymour passed peacefully in her sleep in the loving home of her daughter Mary on January 2, 2022.  Generous in all things, her first instinct was always to help in whatever way she could.  She knew struggles and never turned away from another’s. She gave an ear to many a trouble, she gave her time to crocheting gifts, she gave money to those in a pickle, she gave love in big warm, occasionally breath taking, always memorable hugs.

An Army wife, she was preceded by the love of her life Jerry Seymour Sr.  Her traveling days did not end with his passing.  She lived on her own for the first time in her life and visited friends and family as often as possible.

A cat lover and green thumbed gardener she nurtured all things, even if those being nurtured called her “the warden”.  She was stronger than she knew and passed her perseverance, resourcefulness, creativity, compassion, giving nature and love of chocolate onto her children, Jerry, Mary, Patrick and Rose. She was proud of every one of her brothers, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  And, cared and loved them deeply.  She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Memorial services on January 29, 2022, have been cancelled due to family illness. Services will be rescheduled at a later date.
