ABBEVILLE, ALABAMA. . .Caroline Pastore LaRose, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday night, December 5, 2023, in the Henry County Health & Rehabilitation Facility. She was 95.

            Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 9, 2023, in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery with eulogies to be given by her sons. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions made to S.H.A.R.K. (Safe Haven Animal Rescue & Kennels), P.O. Box 126, Abbeville, AL 36310.

            Ms. LaRose was born and reared in Ballston Spa, New York, daughter of the late Frank Pastore and Anna Prisco Pastore. She lived most of her lifetime in Ballston Spa before moving to Abbeville in 2012. Ms. LaRose was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lisa Mayhew and three brothers, Ralph Pastore, William Pastore and Michael Pastore.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Ann Marie LaRose, three sons, Robert LaRose (Janice), Edwin Community; Joseph LaRose (Mindy) of California; and Frank LaRose of Illinois; a sister, Louise LeVinus (George), Mechanicsville, NY; grandchildren, Danielle Johnson, Ryan Place, Skylar Wollaber, Logan Wollaber, Salvadore, Michele LaRose, Jamie LaRose, Jessica Lilly, Lindsay Haley, Corey Meek, Cassandra Curry and Amy Benoit; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  

            The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of the Henry County Health & Rehabilitation Facility for the loving care and kindness shown to Ms. LaRose during her illness.
