ABBEVILLE…Carolyn Blanton Worley, a resident of Abbeville, died Sunday, September 23, 2018, in a Dothan hospital. She was 77.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 27, 2018, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Brother Harold Pettis officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery-East. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the mortuary in Abbeville.

     Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the New Testament Holiness Church, P.O. Box 328, Abbeville, AL 36310.

     Carolyn Worley was born and reared in Tampa, Florida and moved to Henry County, Alabama in 1995. Carolyn was a member of the New Testament Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilburn Lee Blanton, and her mother, Doris Castleberry Andrews; a son, Michael David MacAloney; a daughter-in-law, Donna MacAloney; and a brother, Clarence Blanton.

     Surviving relatives include her sons, Daniel L. MacAloney, Sr. (Laura), Abbeville, Frank Worley, Jr., Nevada, and Timothy Worley, Sr., Landolakes, FL; a brother, Steve Andrews, St. Petersburg, FL; seventeen grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren.
