Carolyn J. Anderson of Samson, AL passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp, AL. She was 69 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Johnny Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in the New Home Baptist Church cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Carolyn was born in Samson, AL on December 9, 1952. She was an avid Auburn Tiger Football fan. She also enjoyed working in her flower beds and cooking for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Connie DeLoach and one sister, Sybil Johnson.

She is survived by two sons, Steven Spears (Kim), and Ryan Anderson (Ramsi); grandchildren Danielle Spears, Riles Anderson, Riggs Anderson, Caleb Anderson (Kayla), Jesse Anderson, and Marsi Moulton; one great grandchild, Bryleigh Spears; two sisters, Ethel Thomas, and Lula McCall; one brother, Jerry DeLoach; many special nieces and nephews; two very special friends, Scott Farris, and Faye Tubre; and her “fur baby”, Bobo.
