Catherine Malissa Noble, a resident of Headland, passed away following a brave battle with cancer on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at her residence. She was 67 years old.


Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 10:00 am in Sunset Memorial Park with Pastor Randy Adams officiating. The family will receive friends from 9-10 am in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.


Malissa was born on September 9, 1953 in Ozark, Alabama where she resided for most of her life until moving to Headland, Alabama. She attended Dale County High School. Malissa was a housewife and loved her family dearly. She was an animal lover and especially loved her cats and dogs.


Malissa was preceded in death by her father, Saxon Dewitt Dykes, her mother, Johnnie Weeks, her stepmother, Mary Norton, and by her brother, Saxon Dykes, Jr.


Survivors include her husband, Ronald Noble; her daughter, Michelle Garrett; her stepbrother, Donald Grice; her stepsons, Travis and Adrian; her grandchildren, Kaleb Johnson and Claire Johnson; and by her great-grandchildren, Jace and Amelia.
