Mrs. Catherine West Snuggs of Geneva, Alabama passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was 81 years old.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2019 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Brannon and Rev. Cloys Joiner officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.

Mrs. Snuggs was born on March 20,1938 in Point Washington, FL to the late Charlie Adoskie and Vada Barton West. She was a loving wife, mom, Nana and sister. She was also a member of Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her flower beds and making flower arrangements for her church family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Edna Maxine Hughes, and Mary Agnes Lee; two brothers, Charles Hubert and Jimmy Wade West.

She is survived by her husband, James Clifton Snuggs of Geneva; one son, Devin Jay Snuggs (Susan) of Dothan; two grandchildren, Justin Ballard Snuggs and Vada Nicole Snuggs both of Dothan; one sister, Janice Sharon Howell (Jimmy) of Geneva; brother-in-law, Charles Hughes of Geneva; sister-in-law, Cheryl West of Bonifay; and many special nieces and nephews.
