Catheryn Carnes Brandon, age 66, peacefully entered her heavenly home on Friday, November 30, 2018 at her residence in Dothan AL.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Wayside Baptist Church in Ashford, AL with Rev. Adam Habbard officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends following the service.

Catheryn was born on December 19, 1951 in Miami, FL to W.C. and Gayle Carnes.  She grew up in Charlotte, NC. Catheryn worked for eight years in administration at UNC Chapel Hill, NC, and 20 years as an administrative assistant at Wallace College in Dothan, AL. She enjoyed playing piano, painting, sewing, and counted cross stitch. She also had a passion for natural health and for helping people adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Catheryn is preceded in death by her mother, Gayle Carnes.

She is survived by her father, W.C. Carnes of Dothan AL, two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Dan and Rebecca Carnes of Chapel Hill, NC, Bob and Mary Carnes of Dothan, AL, two nieces, Ashley Carnes of Atlanta GA, and Anna Quartuccio married to Scott Quartuccio Hamilton, VA, and their three sons,  Camden age 4, Robert age 3, and Cooper, arriving April 2019.
