ABBEVILLE…Cathy Lynn Harrison Reyes, a resident of Abbeville (White Oak Shores), died Sunday evening, March 7, 2021, in a Montgomery hospital. She was 65.

   Celebration of life services will be held at a later date. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

   Cathy Reyes was born and reared in Knoxville, Tennessee, daughter of the late James Madison Harrison and Margaret Tindell Harrison. She formerly lived in Knoxville, Abbeville and Dothan before moving to White Oak Shores on Lake Eufaula in 2016. Mrs. Reyes was formerly employed by WestPoint Stevens and JB Hunt Trucking Company. She was of the Baptist faith.

   Surviving relatives include two daughters, Luthenia Jackson (Stephen), Dothan; and Mary Blair (Garrett Ryals), Abbeville; a brother, Thomas Harrison, Knoxville, TN; eight grandchildren, Hunter Hutto, Paige Hutto, Carlin Bilbo, Arianna Wickham, Madison Phillips, Wyatt Warner, Brantley Warner and Garrett Ryals, Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Avah Hutto, Amilia Hutto and Kynlee Brown; special friends who Cathy helped to raise, Terra Stafford, Sonya Money and Nathan Peters.

   She was dearly loved by all her nieces and nephews.
