Chad Sherman Peak of Samson passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021. He was 45 years old.

 A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

 Chad was born in Birmingham, AL on June 9, 1975. Chad was a proud graduate of Geneva High School Class of 1993. He worked 30 years as a truck driver and was currently employed with CBT Trucking. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and son. He also enjoyed being outdoors and enjoying nature, especially if it involved fishing.  

 He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Helms Jackson.

 He is survived by his wife, Melinda Peak of Samson; children, Celeste Williams (Peak), Jonathon Turner (Peak), Elijah Caine Adams (Peak), Lorralyigh Gracelynn; grandchildren, Haiden “Monkey”, Draven, Mavis “Squirrel”, Kadde “Bug”, and Brooke Oakley.  

 He is also survived by his father, Joe Peak; a brother, Jamie McGhee; Stepfather, Eddie Jackson; stepsister, Christy Jackson Hodge; nephew, Cross Smith; and best friend, David “Rooster” Tidwell.
