Charles Berry Bottoms “Charlie”

Charles Berry Bottoms of Geneva, Al passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at his home. He was 44.

Charlie was a 1997 graduate of Bethlehem High School. After graduation he perused a career on the Pipe line, and later on worked for Diamond Offshore and Shamrock Industries. He was a talented welder, traveling all over the country working hard doing what he loved. Charlie’s latest endeavor was starting his own business, C&S Welding and Tree Service. Charlie was always doing what he could to help others in need. His proudest moment was becoming a father to Colt Keith Bottoms.

Charlie is preceded in death by his father Charles “Glen” Bottoms, grandparents Hartwell and Tince Bottoms, and W.H. and Lillie Mae Berry, and special friend Keith Brunson.

Survivors include his wife Creasie Bottoms, mother Beverly Bottoms, sister Holly Woodham (Mark), son Colt Keith Bottoms, step children Joey and Mari Bass, niece Lillie Kate Woodham, as well as many special family and friends.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Geneva with Joey Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Home Church Cemetery in Thurston under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Homes.
