COLUMBIA. . .Charles Edward “Eddie” Collins, Jr., resident of Columbia, died Friday morning, January 8, 2021, in the emergency room of a Dothan hospital. He was 52.

   Memorial services will be held at a later date.

   Eddie Collins was a native of Midland City and was reared in Pinckard and Columbia. He was formerly employed as a sheetrock finisher.

   Surviving relatives include his wife, Terri Deese Collins, Columbia; a daughter, Tiffany Bolinger; two sons, Corey Bolinger and Andrew Bolinger; two step-children, Tanya Chandler and Kelly Arnold; his father, Charles Edward Collins, Sr. of Texas; and his mother, Sherry Walker (Phillip), Columbia; a brother, Tony Collins (Amy), Dothan; several grandchildren.
