Charles H. Cook, a resident of Dothan passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Hartford Health Care. He was 68 years old.


Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Midland City Cemetery with Rev. Charles Metcalf officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends 3:30-4:30 pm on Monday November 12, 2018 at the funeral home.


Mr. Cook was born August 2, 1950 at Moody Hospital in Dothan, AL. He was raised in Headland and later moved to Midland City. He loved Alabama Football and spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great-grand daughter.


Survivors include his children, Brandy Ward (fiancé Mike Smith), Amy Cook, and Matthew (Shannon) Cook; brother, Rickey Cook; 8 grandchildren; 1 very special great-granddaughter, Addisson; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buck Cook and Katie Bell Cook, a sister, Barbara Wright, and a brother, J.W. Smith.
