Charles Henry "Chuck" Britto, 84, of Shalimar, FL died early Tuesday morning, April 23, 2019, at the Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center. His funeral will be held Saturday morning, April 27, 2019, at 11 a.m. EDT in the Chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home in Blakely, GA. Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery, Morgan, GA with Military Honors. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening, April 26, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT at the funeral home.


Mr. Britto was born on July 10, 1934 in Stamford, CT to the late Charles Henry Britto, Sr. and Catherine Anastacia Rayho Britto. He was a retired MSGT with the US Air Force having served during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was also school bus transportation director for the Calhoun County Board of Education in Morgan, GA. He also worked 9 years at the Marine Corp Logistic Base in Albany, GA. He was a member of the Deloris Hope Chapel International Church of Shalimar, FL. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Mote Britto.


Mr. Britto’s survivors include two sons; Randy Britto and Dana of Dothan, AL, Craig Britto of Tampa, FL, a sister, Ruth Morelli and Dom of New Jersey, a grandson, Joshua Britto and Tara of Dothan, AL and their daughter Brooklyn Britto.
