Obituary: Mr. Charles Voss, Jr.

 

Mr. Charles Voss, Jr. of Pensacola, FL, formerly of Geneva, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at Covenant Hospice in Pensacola.  He was 81. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Cliff Foster officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. 

Mr. Voss was born in Fayette County Texas to the late Charles and Essie Peterson Voss. Charles loved to travel and enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and will be dearly missed. 

Survivors include his children: Rickey Voss (Kim), Kym Adams (Glen), Bambi Carter, Otis Voss (Shannon), Andrew Voss (Lori), and Robert Voss; grandchildren: Jessica Harper (Jeremy), Raina Voss, Ryan Jordan (Jessica), Jared Jordan (Clara), Aaron Carter (Tori), Brice Case, Dillon Case, John Voss, James Voss, and Nathaniel Voss; great grandchildren: Branson & Braxton Harper, Jayleigh, Jude & Jameson Jordan, Zoe & Owen Jordan; special friend, Martha Hauck and her family; and other extended family and friends.
