Charles Warren Hollis of Enterprise, AL passed away at Southeast Health on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.  He was 81. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Sam Williams and Rev. Steve Reneau officiating.  Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 A.M. until service time.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Horace Hollis and Evelyn Warren Hollis; and his sister Jenny Hollis Carmichael.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years Jennifer Curington Hollis, Enterprise, AL; three children, Denise (Rick) Morgan, Shalimar, FL; Beverly (Jim) Thompson, Enterprise, AL; Bryan (Holly) Hollis, Enterprise, AL; seven grandchildren, Josh (Heather) Morgan, Zach (Margaret) Morgan, Alec Morgan, Sid Thompson, Ele Thompson, Brandon Chancellor, and Alex Chancellor; great-granddaughters Marlowe Morgan, Merrin Morgan, and Mixon Morgan; great-grandson Miller Morgan; sister Judy (Rives) Poss; brother Greg (Vicky) Hollis. 

The family would like to extend a special thanks of gratitude to the following: Enterprise Medical Center: Dr. Rick Harrelson, Dr. Scott Charlton, the Enterprise Medical Center ICU nurses.  Southeast Alabama Health Center:  Dr. Walter Doty and the CCU nurses.
