Date: A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on Friday, April 2, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Shifra officiating. Chase will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5-7 pm.

Chase Lane Wilson, a resident of Cottonwood, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021. He was 19 years old.


A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on Friday, April 2, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Shifra officiating. Chase will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5-7 pm.


Chase was born on August 28, 2001 in Luverne, Alabama and has lived most of his life in Cottonwood where he was a 2019 graduate of Cottonwood High School. After graduating from high school, he worked for a time in the family business, Fair Price Painting. He loved to fish and hang out with his friends. Chase was an outgoing young man and would light up a room when he walked in, he was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be greatly missed.


Chase leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Cayci and Pete Folds and Donald Wilson; his brothers, Trey Folds and Donald Lamar Wilson; his sisters, Alexis (Christopher) Barbaree, Ashley Chreasman (Matthew Sibley), Kayla Folds, and Jessica Wilson; his grandparents, Eddie Womac and Lisa (Mike) Varner; his aunts, Diane Wilson and Carllisa (Alan) Flowers, and Jessica Howard Womac; his niece and nephew, Noah Gabrielle Sibley and Ayra Grace Barbaree; and numerous cousins and close friends.


Serving as active pallbearers will be Willie Stone, Corey Ducker, Jordan Ducker, Michael Spivey, Christian Bartley, and Trey Folds.
