Christa Faith Screws of Geneva was escorted into Heaven on the Wings of Angels on September 1, 2019. She was 6 years old.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2019 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Donnie Earles and Rev. Zachary Dodson officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

 She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, Richard Bundy and Ray Screws,  great-great grandmother, Bertha Spann, great-grandparents, Gloria and Lee Anderson Carnley, great-grandmother, Nancy Brock and cousin, Sairah Garner.

 Christa was a loving child with a beautiful smile with a bubbly personality. She had a strong faith in her Lord and Saviour for such a young soul. Her favorite color was purple. She was a member of the Living Water family worship center. Christa loved every person she met, rarely meeting a stranger. She was especially drawn to those wearing a uniform. Often she could be seen walking up to them, sticking out her hand, and telling them “Thank You for your service”.

 She is survived by her parents, Ronnie and Tiffany Screws of Geneva; one brother, Samuel Screws, Geneva; maternal grandparents, Tommy Coate (Tina)of Ganer, Oma Trim (Johnny), Geneva; paternal grandparents, Roy Screws(Hortence) Orlando, FL, Debbie Screws, Kinston, AL, great grandparents, Edna Yates (Randall) of Darlington, FL, Jimmy Spears of Uniontown, AL, Linda Screws of Hanceville, AL and Johnny Brock (Elaine) of Geneva, AL  and a host of special aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and church family.

 Pallbearers are Tom Coate ,Tommy Bundy, Dewayne Nowling, Justin Walker, Mike Carnley and Troy Alberson,”Uncle Bob”
