Christopher John Cecil, 67, a resident of Midland City, died on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Flowers Hospital. He was born on December 25, 1952 in Pennsylvania to the late Steve Cecil and Mary Frances (Gugan) Cecil.


Funeral Service 11 AM, Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Logos Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to service. The burial to follow at Memory Hill Cemetery with military honors.


Christopher  proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years of service as a MSGT.  He received several Air Force meritorious medals in his service to his country to include his time in the Vietnam War.  Upon retirement he worked as a government contractor in the Washington D.C. area. Christopher was an avid studier of the word of God. He fully enjoyed the simple things in life and loved his family.


Survivors include his loving and devoted  wife of 48 years; Insuk Cecil, daughter, Suzanne (Hector) Chaparro, siblings, Toni Kestner, Stephanie (Ronald) Dranzo, Steven (Betty) Cecil, and John (Tammy) Cecil, and several nieces, nephews, and loving family members.
