Cidney Lane McClendon of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away on May 13, 2022. He was 21 years old.

A celebration of Cidney’s life will be held by his family at a later date.

Cidney was born in Enterprise, AL on February 19, 2001 to Anthony W. McClendon and Danna Marie Ivey. Cidney was a loving father, who loved his daughter, Elizabeth and fiancé, Harley with all his heart. He enjoyed fishing, driving his truck and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Leon Hussey.

Cidney is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Lottie McClendon; fiancé, Harley Clark; father, Anthony McClendon; mother, Danna Ivey; maternal grandmother, Kerry M. and husband, Barry Solomon, paternal grandmother, Gayle Hussey; twin brother, Breckin Anthony McClendon and sister, Addyson Ivey; and a host of extended family and friends.
