HEADLAND…Clarence Benjamin Carver, Jr. (J.R.), a resident of Headland, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 2, 2019, at his home. He was 69.

     Memorial services will be held at a later date.

     Mr. Carver was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and reared in West Palm Beach, Florida, son of the late Clarence Benjamin Carver, Sr. and Helen Grace Dunham Carver. He lived most of his adult life in Wellington, Florida. Mr. Carver was formerly employed by DiVosta Homes of Palm Beach County, Florida, as a Salesman.

     Surviving relatives include his wife, Glenda “Susie” Sawyer Carver; two daughters, Adrienne Carver (Martin O’Kane), Drexel Hill, PA, and Brittany Carver, Headland; two sons, Kyle Carver, Sr. (Margot), Baker, FL, and Neil Carver, Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Paul Carver and Mark Carver (Rose); five grandchildren, Kyle Carver, Jr., Kayla Carver, Sheamus O’Kane, Kennedy O’Kane and Cole Carver; one great-grandson, Cayden Carver; two sisters-in law and one brother-in-law, Rita Sawyer Smith (Mark), Cathy Sawyer Dixon (Larry Standard) and John Sawyer (Eileen); a host of nieces and nephews.
