Clarence L Byrd of Enterprise, AL, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Flowers Hospital.  He was 89.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Calvin Malone officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until service time.

Mr. Byrd retired from DynCorp at Ft. Rucker after 40 years of employment.

Mr. Byrd was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Elaine Byrd.

Survivors include his daughter, Sherrie Byrd Hazim (Walid), Dubai, U.A.E.; son, Jeffery Byrd (Chantal), Enterprise, AL; 5 grandchildren, Sami Hazim, Ramzi Hazim, Kristin Fall (Matt), Christopher Byrd (Amber), Nicholas Byrd (Kristina); 5 great-grandchildren, Owen Fall, Abraham Fall, Wallace Fall, Asher Byrd, Nixon Byrd; and several loving nieces and nephews.
