Clennie Paul Akridge, age 96, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Enterprise Health and Rehabilitation. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at County Line Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Wiggins officiating.  Burial will follow in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 P.M. until service time.  Flowers appreciated or memorial donations may be made to County Line Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

Clennie was a long time member of County Line Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Director, and on various church committees.

He was preceded in death by his parents Pinkard and Vera Akridge, brothers, Leondas and Clifford Akridge, and sister Mavis Henderson.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Akridge, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Paula Arsenault (John), Caseyville, IL; son, David Akridge, Atlanta, GA; grandson, Brad McCanne, St. Louis, MO; granddaughter, Maegen Swearingen (Zac), Atlanta, GA; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Nurses, CNAs and Staff of Enterprise Health and Rehabilitation and DaySpring Hospice.
