Cliff Byron Brunson, Sr., age 73, of Enterprise, AL, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 27, 2016 in Flowers Hospital.


Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at New Home Baptist Church with Reverend Cliff Quincey and Reverend Joe Paul officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory.  In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s  Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or New Home Baptist Church, 2734 County Road 617, Enterprise, AL 36330.


Cliff was born on July 12, 1942 in Enterprise, AL to the late John and Robbie Brunson. He was the owner and operator of Brunson Pest Control for the past 20 years.


He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, John Jr., William and his wife, Catherine and Jim Brunson, two sisters, Betty Brunson Klepper and her husband, Richard, Bobbie Brunson Paul and her husband, Robert, a son-in-law, Bill Montgomery and two granddaughters.


Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Grace Bowden Brunson; two daughters, Jenny Brunson Montgomery; Amy Brunson Thrash (Chad); one son, Cliff Byron Brunson, Jr. (Ginger); grandchildren, Paige and Elizabeth Brunson; Gracie Thrash; Trey and Tyler Montgomery; Zander and Brooks Thrash; John, Dalton and Dylan Bradshaw; great-granddaughter, Breleigh Bradshaw; two sisters-in-law, Myrtle and Eloise Brunson; numerous nieces and nephews.
