Connie June Jenkins, age 84 of Dothan died Thursday morning November 1, 2018 at home of her son after an extended illness and under the care of Covenant Hospice.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday November 3, 2018 in the Westwood Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Lynn Miley officiating.  Committal services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Saturday in the River Falls Cemetery located in River Falls, Al with Family First Funeral & Cremation Care directing.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time in the sanctuary.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center 1314 Westgate Parkway Suite 2, Dothan, Al 36303.

Mrs. Jenkins was born in Andalusia daughter of the late Tommy Edward Cobb and Clyde Johnson Cobb.  Connie moved to Dothan from Prattville in 1996 and had worked as an insurance agent.  She attended Covenant United Methodist Church.  Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George Jenkins, a brother Bobby Cobb and a sister Betty Morrow.

Survivors include her son David (Laurie) Jenkins, her daughter Debra (Ron) Branson all of Dothan, a brother Jimmy (Madge) Cobb of Andalusia, a sister Barbara Wilson of Longview, TX, 5 grandchildren Jud Howell, Spencer Jenkins, Christian Jenkins, Rachel Jenkins, Taylor Jenkins and 5 great-grandchildren George Howell, Jack Howell, Hunter Reese, Rose Adams and Ellerby Tindell.
