DOTHAN…. Connie Scales Ward, a resident of Dothan died Friday, September 9, 2022, at her home. She was  69.

     There are no funeral or memorial services planned at this time.  Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

     Mrs. Ward was born in Tell City, Indiana, daughter of the late William Franklin Scales, Jr and Stella Mae Jackson Scales. She lived in Midland  City before moving to Dothan in 1979. Mrs. Ward was retired from by Rebwood Manufacturing Company in Headland. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Herman Ward.

     Surviving relatives include her daughter, Susan Lewis (Joe), a son, James Dylan Ward, all of Dothan; two sisters, Tina Pointion (Dennis), Michigan City, Indiana; and Gail Piper (Bob), Rome, Indiana; a brother, Rocky Scales; two grandchildren, Dakota Lewis and Nellie Lewis.
