Connor was born January 5, 2000, to Karie and Greg Hughes in Atlanta, Georgia.

Connor brought much joy, love, kindness, and laughter to our family as he grew from childhood to adulthood. He was an athlete, who ran track and played football. He continued our family tradition with his love of Auburn Football. We enjoyed many years as a family yelling, “War Eagle”, during games. Connor was a talented classical guitarist and musician. He graduated from La Cueva High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 2018. Connor chose to join the Army National Guard to “make a difference” by always putting others before himself. He graduated from basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, on November, 2019. Connor participated in COVID relief efforts in New Mexico providing supplies and water to people in need. Connor loved the mountains and nature and aspired to be a park ranger one day. He was the youngest manager at Mr. Car wash in Austin, Texas.

Connor wanted to make a difference with his life by participating in the organ donor program. Connor gave the gift of life to five other people.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on February 13, 2021 at 10 in the morning at Meadowlawn Cemetery, Enterprise, Alabama, with Dr. Ben Bowden officiating and Meadowlawn Cemetery directing.
