Cora L. Willis Turner died Saturday, October 7, 2017 following an extended illness. She was 84 years of age.



Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Camp Ground Baptist Church in Ozark with the Reverends
Al Sonanstine and Joe Underwood officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens in Ozark. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, October 10, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Camp Ground Baptist Church.  


 


Mrs. Turner was born December 25, 1932 and lived her early years in Slocomb. She worked at West Point Pepperell for twenty-two years and was part owner of T&W Painting and also owned Wenston’s Place for a few years.  She was a member of Camp Ground Baptist Church in Ozark.


 


“Doll” was preceded in death by her two husbands, Lonnie Willis and K. D. “Bud” Turner, and six sisters.


 


She is survived by her son, Johnny Willis of Ozark; five grandchildren, Amber Willis, Ashley Willis, Phillip Willis, Kristina (Brandon) Koon and Joey Willis; eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Myrtis Sasser, Bobbie Shirah and Betty Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
