CORDELIA F. ELLIS
HEADLAND.… Cordelia F. Ellis, a resident Headland, Alabama, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 5, 2020, at a Dothan hospital. She was 79.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in Jasper, Alabama.
Ms. Ellis was born in Jasper, Alabama to the late Paul Ferguson and Audie Speegle Ferguson. Before moving to Headland, Alabama six years ago she formerly lived in Meridian, Mississippi for fifteen years and Montgomery, Alabama for twenty years. She was a graduate of Walker County High School. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her daughters, Denise Ellis Carson of Raleigh, NC, Sandy Ellis Jones (Jimmy) of Headland, AL, Dianna Ellis Ciletti (Vince) of Palm Harbor, FL; her sisters, Kaye Burgett of Jasper, AL, and Polly Meadows (Terry Lovett) of Winterhaven, FL; her grandchildren, Erin Bright (Chad), Jared Carson, Lauren Dorsey (Rich), Josh Carson (Hanna), Alex Ciletti, Daniel Jones, and Matthew Ciletti; her great-grandchildren, Carter Bright, Owen Bright, Reese Bright, and Lucia Dorsey.
