Coy Bruce McGowan, a resident of Malvern died Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Flowers Hospital.  He was 76.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from the Chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Hosea Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home Directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home chapel from 10 until 11 A. M. one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Mr. McGowan  was retired from the Army National Guard, Twitchell Corporation and Michelin Tire. He loved being outdoors and was always there helping family and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy L. and Voncil McGowan.

 

Survivors include; one son, Dennis McGowan and wife Mary; Two daughters, Penny Spradlen and Lisa Boykin and husband George all of Malvern.

 

11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren
