OZARK…. Mr. Curtis Donald “Curt” Judah, a resident of Newton Street, Ozark, died peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of Thursday morning, November 8, 2018 at his home. He was 89.

Funeral services, with military honors, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 11, 2018 in the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel with Hospice Chaplain Lisa Eller officiating. Burial will be in Ewell Bible Baptist Church Cemetery. Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M.             Mr. Judah was born February 3, 1929 in the Ewell Community of Dale County to Mr. William (Bud) Judah and Mrs. Era Mae Cain Judah. He married the love of his life, Mrs. Eloise (Vicki) Judah and they were married for sixty-six years. Mr. Judah served in the United States Air Force for a number of years and finally settling back in Ozark working and retiring from Civil Service at Ft. Rucker as a communications specialist. Curt was a pistol ball and brought a lot of joy to his family and friends making people laugh. His life was his dear family and enjoyed “picking and grinning”, listening to music, and talking to all his friends. His latest enjoyment was singing karaoke in the last few months. Mr. Judah was preceded in death by his loving wife, Vicki Judah; twin daughters, Laurie and Lisa and grandson, Robert (Bo) Baker, III.

Surviving relatives include his daughter, Marilyn Baker, Ozark; two grandchildren, Brooke Lee and Judah Baker; five great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Ruth Lovette, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; his special caretaker, Shelly Sanders, who put a lot of smiles on his face and took tremendous care of him during his last months.

The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice for their loving kindness and care shown to Mr. Judah during his illness.
