CYLANN  DAWN  HICKS

 

HEADLAND. . .Cylann Dawn Hicks, infant daughter of Cyle and Anna Lewis Hicks of Headland, passed into the loving arms of Jesus, February 15, 2012, in a Dothan hospital.

            Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, February 17, 2012, in the New Zion Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Tom Chestnut officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.

            Cylann Dawn Hicks was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dawn Hardy Lewis, great-grandfather, George E. Lewis, great-great-grandfather, L. J. Hardy and great-grandfathers, Troy H. Hicks and Merle P. Earhart.

            Surviving relatives in addition to the parents include her brother, Eli Hicks, grandparents, George and Kim Lewis, Tumbleton Community; Larry and Diane Hicks, Headland; great-grandparents, Vivan Lewis, Abbeville; Kyle and Dianne Hardy, Tumbleton community; Diane C. Skinner, Slocomb; Mike and Carole Parker, Headland; Kathryn Earhart Watson, Headland; Vivian Hicks, Dothan; great-great-grandmother, Dot Hardy, Tumbleton community; aunts and uncles, Jordan Lewis (Kailey Williams), Abby Lewis, Brandon Womack (Danielle McNeal), Brent Womack (Katlyn Whitehead), Michaela Tillery, RaeLeigh Baldwin and Sabrina Hicks.

            Although her time was short, we wanted her and loved her with all our heart. We will choose to grow from this experience. We will continue to be thankful to Jesus who holds you, our sweet baby Cylann, in His loving arms. We rest in God’s peace and confidence until we see you again. Forever in our hearts.
