Danny H. Mock of Coffee Springs, AL passed away at his home on Friday, December 29, 2023. He was 75 years old.

The family will receive friends at Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place in the church cemetery with Rev. Bruce Williams officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made in Danny’s memory to the SOS Animal Shelter 25944 AL-134, Enterprise, AL 36330.

Danny was born in Coffee County, AL on June 28, 1948, to the late Leamon C. and Essie Mae Heath Mock. Danny was a founding member and captain of the “Goodman Yacht Club” who met every morning for breakfast, devotion, and solving the world’s problems. He was also a longtime farmer and cattleman in Coffee County. He was just recently honored by the Chancellor Masonic Lodge for 50 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, porch sitting, and spending time with his grandchildren. Danny was a lifetime member of Marvin Chapel Assembly of God.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Bridget Mock; one son, Danny Glenn Mock. 

He is survived by three daughters, Danncey M. Wood (Brad) of Enterprise, AL, Hilary Mock (Justin Shehee) of Coffee Springs, AL, and Dannley Griswold (Shane) of Coffee Springs, AL; six grandchildren, Brady Wood, Letti, Laken, and Slayton Griswold, Garrett and Grayson Shehee; one brother, Eddie Mock (Barbara) of Coffee Springs, AL; special friend and co-worker, Randy “Buster” Anderson of Coffee Springs, AL; and many special cousins, extended family and friends.
