SHORTERVILLE, ALABAMA. . .Darlene Mae Lasley Hansson, a resident of Shorterville, Alabama, died Thursday, June 8, 2023, at her home. She was 75.

            There are no funeral or memorial services planned at this time. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations, Abbeville, Alabama, is in charge of arrangements.

            Darlene Hansson was born in Ft. Collins, Colorado and was reared in Colorado and the state of Washington. She was a graduate of Lake Stevens High School in Lake Stevens, Washington. Darlene served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era. She formerly lived in various locations and also Daleville before moving to Henry County, between Abbeville and Shorterville, in 2011. Darlene was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Lasley.

            Surviving relatives include her husband, Kristian Hansson, a daughter, Karlene Keevert (Kevin), Daleville, AL; sisters, Loretta Knapp (Jim), and Hope Pederson (Darrell); brothers, Tom Lasley, Glenn Lasley, Ernie Lasley, Mike Lasley (Jodi), and Jerry Lasley (Laurie); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
