            David Allen O’Gwynn, Jr. of Enterprise, AL passed on January 15, 2012.  He was 67.


            The family invites friends to share David’s memory with them at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 18th from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.  A graveside service for the family and close friends will be at River Falls Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.


            Memorials may be made to:  Enterprise High School Athletic Department, 1801 Boll Weevil Circle, Enterprise, AL 36330.


David was the husband of the late Susan O’Gwynn and son of the late David Allen ”Cat” O’Gwynn, Sr. and Willette B. O’Gwynn.


He is survived by his daughter Kelly O’Gwynn McArdle (Scott), Mongtomery, AL and son, David Allen O’Gwynn, III (Amy), Daleville, AL.  David, affectionately called “G-Daddy” by his grandchildren, is also survived by his grandson John Thomas McArdle, III, and granddaughters, Miriam Elizabeth “Mimi” McArdle,  and Abigail Grace "Abby" O’Gwynn.  Joining in sorrow for this loss is David’s sister, Priscilla O’Gwynn Stacy of Enterprise, Alabama, and her daughter, David’s niece, Anna Bullington  and her daughters Kate and Beth Bullington of Enterprise, Alabama.  During his life David was a devoted husband, father and grandfather often forsaking himself for others.   His family and friends will continue to feel the loss from his passing, but will celebrate the memories of time spent with such a wonderful and loving person.
