David B. Youngblood of Level Plains, AL, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012, at his home.  He was 71.

             Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Level Plains with Rev. Mike Foreman officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 AM until service time.   Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Level Plains Building Fund, 8189 County Road 1, Enterprise, AL 36330.

             Mr. Youngblood was a member of the First Baptist Church of Level Plains and a member of the Men’s Group led by Roger Hogan.             

             Mr. Youngblood was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher William Riekel.

             Survivors include his wife of 38 years, June Youngblood, Level Plains, AL; 2 daughters, Celeste Yo Shida (Steve),  Mahwah, NJ, Carol Riekel (Ken) Freeport, FL; son, David C. Youngblood, Level Plains, AL; brother, Dan Youngblood (Pauline), Enterprise, AL.
