David Lloyd Distelhorst age 74, a resident of Elba, Alabama passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 at his home. Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Monday, March 22, 2021 beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Mr. Distelhorst served in the United States Army, and was veteran of Vietnam. He will receive military honors at the conclusion of the graveside service.

He leaves behind Son - Kenneth Distelhorst (Cassandra), Elba, AL, Brother - Jeff Distelhorst, Dublin, OH, Sister - Karen Goodrich, Dublin, OH, and Sister - Marna Distelhorst also of Dublin, Ohio. He also is survived by Grandsons - Giovanni Distelhorst, Trent Distelhorst, and Demetri Distelhorst all of Elba, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Gail Distelhorst, along with his parents, Patricia and Kenneth Distelhorst.
