David Jerome Smith

David Smith, age 46 of Webb, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020 at his home of an apparent heart attack.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the North Perry United Holiness Church cemetery in Marion, with Chaplain John Gormley officiating. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 2pm until 4pm at Family First Funeral Care. Social distancing guidelines are to be observed.

David was born in Dothan on November 13, 1973 to the late Jimmy Langford Smith, Sr. and Bessie Ruth Browning Smith. He worked as a tree cutter and for a flooring company but his main line of work was as an auto mechanic. David could put any engine together and make it run like new. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

Davis is survived by a sister, Michelle Lindsey of Webb; a brother, Jamie Smith of Webb; several nieces, nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.
