David Lamar Liveoak, a resident of Dothan, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at his residence. He was 75.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

Mr. Liveoak was born March 31, 1948 in Sylacauga Alabama to Curtis Lamar and Vella Voncille Collins Liveoak. He was a 1966 graduate of Sylacauga High School. He received his BS from Jacksonville State in 1971 and later received his MBA in business from Troy State University. In 1973, he moved from Sylacauga to Dothan.

He was employed as an accountant with Ansell’s in Dothan for 21 years and Alatech in Slocomb and Eufaula for 9 years. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity and a former member of the Institute of Management Accountants. Mr. Liveoak enjoyed his pets, Alabama Football and the Nativity softball teams. Most of all he loved his family!  

He is predeceased by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Patsy Washam Liveoak of Dothan; a daughter, Coryell Harrell of New Orleans, LA; two sons, John David Liveoak (Kimberly) of Wellington, CO and Luke C. Liveoak, Sr. (Meghan) of Montgomery; eight grandchildren.
