David McCall

David McCall age 80 of Dothan passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Southeast Health after a brief illness. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday 01/16/2021 at Family First Funeral Care Chapel at 11 a.m. with Reverend Paul Cowley officiating and Family First Funeral Care Directing.  Visitation will be Friday 01/15/2021 from 5/7 p.m. at Family First Funeral Care Chapel.

David McCall was born 09/05/1940 to Claude McCall and Leana Flowers.  He attended school in Letohatchee, AL school system.  He did tire repair in Orlando, FL and in Dothan, AL for most of his life.  Mr. McCall was known by his children as a great man and a man of many men.  A man who will be missed but never forgotten

He was proceeded in death by two sisters: His mother and father; Willan Bean and Francis Knight, and one brother; Robert Lee Phelps.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 57 years Esther Reynolds McCall, 7 sons: David McCall, Jr,Willie Joe Bean, Joe McCall, Jackie McCall, Roy McCall and David McCall IV, 2 daughters: Maria McCall and G.G. McCall.  3 brothers; Willie Bean, Ammie James Johnson, Willie James Johnson.  Grandkids: Shatoria McCall, Tyrieka Rozier, Tiesha McCall, JaVaris Sturdivant, CorDerrious Brown, Joe McCall Jr. Joshua McCall, Brandy, Amber, Jeremy McCall, David McCall III, Willie Joe Bean Jr., April Dixioul, Bruce Bean, Melissa, (Maria) 1daughter, 1son, (G.G.) 1 son.  A host of great grandchildren.
