David Rickey Barfield

David Rickey Barfield, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at home with family by his side. He was 63 years old.

Rickey was born on July 2, 1958 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Nolan and Robbie Williams Barfield. He was a 1977 graduate of Dothan High School where he met his wife of 44 years. Rickey retired after 23 years from Southeast Health. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved to fish. Rickey loved all his family and friends very much and was always willing to help.

Mr. Barfield is survived by his loving wife, Sheila M. Barfield; his daughter, Tiffany (Anthony) Tomaino, Midland City, Alabama; his son, David A. (Janet) Barfield, Panama City Beach, Florida; his grandchildren, Chase Tomaino, Chelsea Tomaino, Katlin Snell, Kevina Snell, Bryson Barfield, Barrett Barfield, Bennett Barfield; his brother, Joel (Starla) Barfield, Dothan, Alabama; as well as many nephews and nieces.
