Mrs. Dean Arline Braswell, age 83, a resident of Dothan, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023, at her residence following an extended illness.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Daulton Keel, Reverend Phillip Trawick, and Reverend Dennis Trawick officiating, and Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m.

Dean was born August 14, 1940, in Jakin, Georgia to the late Elmer D. & Lola Mae Hughes Trawick. She spent her early years in Columbus, Georgia before moving to the Ashford area. Dean attended Ashford High School and spent her life as a homemaker. She was of Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Clayton Forrest, and Jimmy Braswell; a son, David Forrest; a granddaughter, Kimberly Forrest; a daughter-in-law, Donna Forrest; four brothers, Randy Trawick, Jimmy Trawick, Olan Trawick, and Zolan Trawick; a sister Ilona Jackson.

Dean is survived by her children, Donna Davidson (Steven) of Dothan, Daniel Forrest (Nora) of Ashford, and Don Forrest (Amy) of Rehobeth; a brother, Buddy Trawick of Florida; a sister, Joanne Buntin of Ashford; a sister-in-law, Glenda Forrest of Dothan; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
