Mrs. Deborah Kay Benefield Toole, age 50, of Clayton, Alabama passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama following a brief illness with Covid-19.

 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Friendly Assembly of God Church in Texasville, Alabama with Reverend Ronnie Benefield officiating and Glover Funeral Home of Clayton directing. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 9:45 prior to the service.

 

Deborah was born November 05, 1970, in Clayton, Alabama to William Alvin Benefield and Dorothy Hutto Benefield Bailey. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was known as a very sweet, loving, and caring woman. She enjoyed the outdoors and was happy when she was camping and fishing. Deborah was a member of Friendly Assembly of God Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, William Alvin Benefield; brother, Danny Benefield and sister, Mary Ann Benefield.

 

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 34 years, James C. Toole, Jr; step-father, Garnie Bailey; mother, Dorothy Hutto Benefield Bailey; four sons, James C. Toole, III (Ashley), William Toole (Leann), Jacob Toole (Kimberly), and Jay Toole; daughter, Aubrey Toole; three brothers, Ronnie Benefield (Nina), Donnie Benefield, and David Benefield (Debbie); twelve grandchildren, Ashton, Autumn, Annika, Annalise, Mary Kay, Edward, William, Jr, Audrey, James Daniel, Mason, Jenason, and Jonathan; several nieces and nephews.

 

Active pallbearers will be: Donnie Benefield Jr., Caleb Benefield, Philip Baxter, Mark Brownlee, Anthony Bailey, Chris Philips, and Zach Johnson.

 

Flowers will be accepted.
