Obituary: Deborah Peters Andrews

 

Deborah Peters Andrews of Hartford passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 at her home. She was 65. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Jesse Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow at the Hurricane Cemetery and Burial.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time. 

Deborah was born April 19, 1957 in Geneva County to Billy and Charlotte Watson Peters. Debbie was a fashionista, was always well dressed and was Miss Slocomb 1975. She had a passion for high heel shoes and lipstick. She could be feisty and had a habit of being late. She loved her family dearly and had a special place in her heart for her dog, Jayce. She was loving and compassionate by nature and was extremely loyal and always had her families back. Debbie hated saying goodbye to her friends and had a habit of slipping out unnoticed.  She was an incredible mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Deborah was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Sue Peters. 

Survivors include her daughter, Charla DeAnna Thomas; son, James Dale Andrews; parents, Billy and Charlotte Peters; companion of 38 years, Dale Andrews; grandchildren: Ashley Watson, Nathan Watson, and Alex Watson; great grandchildren: Christian Holloway, Braylon Holloway, and Ava Wells; brother, Preston D. Peters (Dianna Smith); nephews: Casey Peters and Justin Peters his spouse, Kristen King and their children: Jase King, Gabriella Peters, Isabella Peters, Alexandria Peters, and Preston Alec Peters.
