Dell Ellis, age 82, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 28, 2015, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Minister Keith Ellis and Minister George Merritt officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 PM until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wiregrass Christian Youth Camp, 207 W. College Street, or to Gentiva Hospice, PO Box 1708, Enterprise, AL 36331.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Ellis, Enterprise; son, Joe Ellis, Robertsdale, AL; daughter, Della Ellis Young (Drew) Macon, GA; grandson, Andrew Daniel Young; brother-in-law, Frank Daniel, Maplesville, AL.
