Delmar Duaine Clark

 

Delmar Duaine Clark, a resident of Griffin, GA, and a former resident of Dothan, went Home to the Lord, Thursday, November 3, 2011. While surrounded by loved ones, his home-going was peaceful and serene.

 

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2011, at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Johnny Fain officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Dothan City Cemetery with Byrd Funeral Home on West Main directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon Monday until service time.

 

Mr. Clark was born in Madrid, AL and was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII. He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he was active in their mission programs and was an electrician by trade.

 

Preceded in death by his wife, Mary M. Clark, he leaves son, Charles (Virginia) Clark and daughter Janice (John) Hoffman, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and four sisters and their spouses.
